I'm with you and Walt, as well, when it comes to appreciating the
venerable Magnum tradition.
Yet, I must also look at the current generation, including our own
young brother, Kyle, and also appreciate what they're doing and why.
The young always have something to teach us if we're open to learning.
My old ears have a very difficult time with Rap music. 50's Rock-a-
billy, Blues and 60's Rock'n'roll moves me.
While teaching at Columbia College a young twenty year old woman
finally communicated to me why Hip Hop is important, where it fits in
the history, and how to listen to it.
It's still difficult for me - but the best is certainly worth a
listen - both musically and lyrically.
