Photographer Overboard

My tourism assignment was to illustrate people enjoying themselves boating.
The kind with beautiful models, wind blown hair, smiling faces

and not a care in the world.

The shoot went very well as we, model boat and photo boat cruised up and
down the lake doing various versions of happy boating people. When I was
satisfied I waved the others back to the dock.

My boat driver asked, "is that a wrap?" "Yes, let's go get a Scotch!" And
with that he hit the throttle and turned the boat at the same time,
immediately launching cameras and me airborne over the side.

Quickly coming about to pick me up, he leaned over the side reaching to give
me a hand and asked.."Was that Scotch and water or soda?"

The only good thing was I had a new roll of film in both cameras ready to go
when I felt we had enough. So the only bad thing was a couple of well soaked
Leica R4s! :-) Oh yeah and a couple of lenses.

Trust me it may sound funny, it wasn't!
