No, not at all. I am just saying that when you stand in front of a
window, admiring your own work through a loupe, you are not
communicating with anyone else.

If you decide you want to communicate with others, then you no longer
have those blessed pure colors that you said you appreciate by working
that way.

I don't regard the situation where the maker regards his or her own
work as a communicative process.
