I'm converting most to DNG in Light room, but there is no promise of future
proofing really.

I have started to shoot in RAW mode and I am wondering what to do as far as
archiving my "negatives". Since there are so many different flavors of RAW,
what should be done to insure they can be read again in say 5 years? What
should they be converted to yet not loose the ability to work on them in the
way a RAW file does?
