Subject: [Leica] 560mm f6.8 Telyt question

The focusing slide on my 560 Telyt has become loose to the point  
where it will no longer offer any friction to the lens barrel. So  
when tilting the lens slightly the lens head will slide all the way  
to either end. Does anyone know if there is a simple adjustment to  
tighten it up? Or could it be broken. I have not removed the button  
assembly.
