Hi Philippe,

That goes beyond my understanding. I've never seen the original Don 
Giovanni. This version used part of the original music but also a lot of 
other stuff.
The new stand was used to mimic the ghost of don Giovanni. His face was 
covered with a piece of latex, like a ghost. Simple but very effective.
