Subject: [Leica] The LUG at RSNA

It is usually just after thanksgiving. I arrived once a bit early and nearly
froze to death walking the streets on Thanksgiving day: everything was
closed and I was not properly clothed ;-)

brings back memories. i was a Matrix Instruments years ago,
and for the RSNA they would rent out the entire Chicago Field
Museum (which is like the Muesum of Natural History to us in NYC).
very swanky. i took a bunch of photos which i should dig up
just for fun.

i recall that by design or coincidence RSNA timing always seemed to
wipe out the thanksgiving holiday.
