Hi Graham,

A nice example of .. "shoot from the shadow side" on a subject other than a
human being. 

 

The angle of the light in this photo illustrates how effective finding and
using shadow side light can be in creating greater depth and feeling rather
than plain flat on light. If people look for the "shadow side" the light and
shadows create a photograph of greater detail and form.
