Not routinely, but if I'm in a situation where I'm afraid I might 
blow out the highlights, I do.  I used to underexpose all the time, 
but then I read an article that said it was really better with 
digital to slightly overexpose, so I went back to no 
compensation.  Evidently, though, Leica handles shadows and 
highlights in a different way!
