Thinking about deals, I bought my M3 + 50 Collaps. Summicron, used, 34 years ago for $325.00. It is still my most used personal camera, and I shot with it in my job for years also. Counting the two CLA's at about $100 each, it cost me $15.44 a year. I guess I'm a marketer's nightmare. My Olympus SLR's were the last serious cameras I bought new, back in 1982, and now they don't get used as much as the M3, IIIf, Rolleiflex, or the Nikon F that my uncle gave me before he passed away. I did spring for a Canon digital ELPH S200 in 2003, but after a while, I went back to the more responsive Olympus XA for slipping in a pocket (that XA was bought used, from a friend for $35, and I made at least $500 on stock photo sales with it).
