Hello again Ed,
I too had a Panasonic L1 (which I sold but kept the Leica designed  
zoom) and I prefer the Oly 330E because a) you get AF in live view  
with the mirror down and b) you can tilt the screen and so use the  
camera like a TLR. Great for street shots.
