Had similar problems with SPAM messages.

For years, I've been receiving exhortations to purchase erection
enhancements and breast enlargements.

Unfortunately, after I purchased those products the first time, all the
other messages have been superfluous.

I'm noticing in the spam that I get that the key word often they use when I
read it which I never do is "bored".

Its some gal whose bored and wants to know what I'm up to that night.

Is there some psychology thing going on with the spammers which they think
they know which I don't?

I'm not looking for a bored gal to go out with some night.
I'm looking for a less bored gal.
Excited by the world condition maybe.

I'm not excited by boredom. A lot of guys apparently are. Not me.
