I continually spend time with my old "friends", selecting from my collection as the mood dictates. It's so enjoyable to interact with them. The DSLRs I use during the week are only acquaintances; I can accept them, but don't love them. Saturday, I made fiber prints (Leica shots) in the darkroom (love being in there) that are being accepted into the Milwaukee Art Museum's permament collection, and finally enlarged a picture I took with my Pentax 6x7 in 1999 (I'm patient), of railroad shops awaiting demolition near Milwaukee's Miller Park. Looking at these negatives, I told myself I've got to get out with this camera more often. I have about 20 rolls of Verichrome Pan left; I alternate with FP4, depending on subject.
