Here is a picture taken at ISO 400 with the Leica 100mm Apo Macro Elmarit at f2.8. It shows that the performance in terms of grain and noise is entirely acceptable, I would say comparable to my Canon at ISO 800 (and similarly, when I look at some nighttime images I shot with the Oly at 800, they are comparable to the Canon at 1600, i.e. highly usable). It also shows that the viewfinder is certainly good enough to focus the 100mm macro lens manually (several other shots of a similarly boring nature were also correctly focused). http://www.greatpix.eu/gallery/3109327 Nathan Nathan Wajsman nathan@nathanfoto.com General photography: http://www.nathanfoto.com http://www.greatpix.eu http://www.frozenlight.eu Picture-A-Week: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog
