If you want to hand hold, at eye level, and have biceps like Popeye, and a really strong back, a nice 500CM is up your alley. If you want the best images possible in color, using film, a tripod, hand held meter, and waist level camera position, then definitely it is up your alley, and you do not need a darkroom. If you want to shoot elegant B+W images from a tripod, and you have a darkroom, then it is up your alley.. If you are a pro, and want to sell your work, then NO, stay away. Use digital If you want to use the camera for candid work like the Leica RF is most suitable for, then NO, stay away. If you want to use digital.... No stay away ( unless you are rich). Get a Canon.
