Dear Ted,
 
We always seek a reason to explain such a personal  tragedy. But the world 
isn't governed by our rationality. Life is a miracle  that is as easily 
taken as 
given. We're thrown into the arms of society  when we're ill, of those we 
never met before. They sometimes have the knowledge  and the means -- the 
miracle 
to save us. One thing  is certain. Jaylen is a presence.
