I just updated the the latest version of the Mac OS that permits RAW  
processing of M8 images in Aperture.  That's the good news.  The bad  
news is that my images in Aperture simply disappeared with the  
update.   Gone.  Poof.  Nada.  I have not been able to find them  
anywhere.

Lightroom is looking better all the time.
