It is still intact, with all the original furniture and accessories, just as the architect designed it all. http://www.gamblehouse.org/photos/index.html Cost was about $72,000 in about 1911. A working man's house cost $2,000 - $4,000 in 1911 Included in this cost is the $20,000 Garage......... Notice the Large overhanging rooflines, large horizontal window groupings, lots of workmanship in every detail in the woodworking. Colors are muted to dark earth tones ( original house color was green.) This is now a museum, with guided tours available for a few dollars.
