Thoughtful approach, Mark. Once I watched a policeman across the
street telling people to clean up their mess spilling from the yard
out to the sidewalk. I could tell this wasn't his first warning. The
people just yelled and screamed back at him. The policeman came
toward his car where I was standing and said hello to me. We chatted
a moment, then he thanked me. "Just wanted to talk a minute with
someone normal," he said.
