Bob,

The perfect digital for me would be the FF, live LCD M9, which isn't
available yet.
On the digital side, I make do with an Oly 5050 and a Nikon D70. The new
Nikon P5000 has very interesting specs and a 10MP sensor plus stabilization
and
a few other goodies. From the specs it's quite a prosumer. On the film
side,
my favorite is the M3 running Tri X, which I process myself, or ISO 400
Kodacolor printed to CD. It produces the true photo quality even in digital
transformation. I can't get away from that veracity.

My compact digital Oly 5050 -- an f1.8 zoom prosumer -- I tend to use most
often -- is going on 4 years and has never failed me as long as I remember
to
let the camera focus before shooting. The D70 is one of those eternally
reliable Nikons that uses large pixels for high speed, low noise, and yet
with
only 6MP produces brilliant prints for me. Focus is all but instantaneous.

Bob
