Canon and HP use intense heat at the print head that actually boils the ink creating a bubble that pushes the ink out, hence the term bubble jet. Epson uses Piezography or a low voltage current to push the ink out. One is far more powerful and rarely clogs the other will clog frequently requiring using a lot of ink to keep unclogged.
