I waited since everybody I know with a 1280 or 3000 complained about clogs. My 2200 lasted 5 years before it died. I now use a R2400 and I'm even more impressed with it than the 2200. I average around 40 or 50 prints per week with it and not one single problem. Only change I want to make is to get a larger printer for 16x20's. I also have a R320 which survived the open elements during Katrina and Rita in 2005. Still going strong.
