Go for the Dell or the equivalent HP-Compaq.  Your constraint will be 
the video card in your laptop rather than the monitor. You are not doing 
pre-press at the farm and the web photos generation  will be suitable 
for most people's monitors on the web. Either brand monitor should allow 
you to watch dvd movies at the farm also ;)
