"lightning blocks" on the frame. So we are looking at a main distribution
frame on the outside plant ( outside cable or subscriber ) side of the
frame. The jumper wires from here will go to another block on the
horizontal side which will correspond to a phone number in the switch.

The chess picture is grainier than what I produced in the past. I hope my
B&W technique is not beyond rehabilitating with more frequent shooting and
processing. It's been hard finding time to get into the darkroom with all
the digital work I do at the office, but I still love conventional
photography.
