You can't throw a stick over your shoulder here without hitting one. With 
the demise of large scale hunting they've moved into the city and make an 
easy living eating the local cats and smaller dogs.

Years ago they were pretty solitary creatures. You'd see them outside of 
town in ones and twos, now they frequently travel in larger groups.
