I'm still getting my new computer settled in and trying to organize
myself. Fat chance.

But I did get out into the backyard this afternoon and made this shot
of...I don't know, but suspect it is a 'volunteer' crocus of some sort.

Processed in Lightroom and PS CS2.

Those who remember me will not be surprised I had to spot some dog hair
out of the photo.

Technical details: Canon 1DMk2, ISO 200, Leica 100mm f2.8
APO-macro-Elmarit, probably at 2.8 and who knows what shutter speed.

I've tried to color calibrate my monitor and would appreciate any
comments from anyone as to how it looks. I worked on the shot using
the Adobe recommended ProPhoto RGB profile but changed to sRGB before
saving it for the web.

I think the background may have darkened up a bit when I made the
conversion.....

Thanks,

--Bob
