But I did get out into the backyard this afternoon and made this shot of...I don't know, but suspect it is a 'volunteer' crocus of some sort. http://www.bobbaron.com/W_H8F9402-Edit.jpg Processed in Lightroom and PS CS2. Those who remember me will not be surprised I had to spot some dog hair out of the photo. Technical details: Canon 1DMk2, ISO 200, Leica 100mm f2.8 APO-macro-Elmarit, probably at 2.8 and who knows what shutter speed. I've tried to color calibrate my monitor and would appreciate any comments from anyone as to how it looks. I worked on the shot using the Adobe recommended ProPhoto RGB profile but changed to sRGB before saving it for the web. I think the background may have darkened up a bit when I made the conversion..... Thanks, --Bob
