I had to go out and get the right finder for the thing. You could be real tired and rushed and confused or eating a bunch of Peyote caps in a cave in the New Mexico desert or be plied with gin and go "now what am I supposed to do with that frameline?" And end up using it. I say the right tool for the right job. I was using a 24 finder with a 21 lens. You ignore the frameline. Both lenses were current Leica ASPH's. Two months later I picked up the camera having not used it stuck it in a suitcase and brought it to Wetzlar. Shot 3 4 rolls with the 24 till I figured out it was a 21. Which was lucky as I needed that space to shoot all these "domes" which I couldn't get in the picture. Turns out I could. Was glad to find that out. Anyway with digital you crop it the way you want it anyway. Mark Rabiner 8A/109s New York, NY markrabiner.com
