I am reading a book called "Before the Dawn" by Nicholas Wade, which is a
history of humanity, and what it tells us about evolution primarily by DNA
analysis and the Social Sciences. Fascinating stuff, and highly recommended,
as long as one believes in evolution, but one of the tenets that DNA
analysis suggests is that warfare has been with Man forever (5 million
years, at least), and that it has been a factor in the development of our
brains.
