Microsoft have hardly any market share ;-) Unix boasting of their chastity! On the picture format front, this is likely to be a mis-step by Mr Ballmer et al as everyone ignores it. However, its not likely to dent their bottom line giving it a try. I was surprised to read Brian's comments re DivX, though. I never heard about outrage or a slow and painful death of the format. Brian, did you mean in commercial players? I would be greatly inconvenienced without that codec.
