Please let me know if I understand this IR filter situation for the M8 
right:

Traditionally an IR filter is a very dark red filter that cuts out visible 
light and lets infrared rays pass.

The IR filter you have to have for the M8 does just the opposite, but is 
still called an IR filter.

Is that right?
