Hello Luggers,
I ordered two 43mm Heliopan 8025 filters from Sally Neureuther of
Photomayr in Germany (thank you Henning for the tip) for my old 50mm
Summilux and my 40mm Nokton SC. Service was great. The order was paid
for by credit card on March 20 and the filters were delivered to me
by the postman the morning of March 23! Here are two photos of my
dear wife Esther taken with the M8 and the Nokton SC - wide open at
f1.4 under a single tungsten light - one with the filter and one
without.

The lesson here is if you get purple highlights in hair under
tungsten light, the 8025 will eliminate them. I don't think I will
ever take the filters off either lens. It just keeps things simple.
In the meantime I am still waiting for my free IR filters from Leica
and to get back my Leica wides back from coding.
Cheers,
Howard (in Hong Kong)
