Allow the M8 to bring up the lines for 28mm. Frame your image by imagining a set of lines between the very ends of the VF and the 28mm lines. These are your good-enough 25mm guidelines, i.e., the image should be larger than the 28mm Frame lines, but not as far out as the rims of the entire VF. 2. To avoid parallax error, manually set the M8's 24mm lines by moving and holding the lever to the 24mm lines position whenever shooting close-up. I have no trouble pressing the shutter release while holding the frames lever. 3. If you have no trouble with step 2, you may decide to always hold the frames lever in place for 24mm when shooting with the Biogon. 4. If none of this is acceptable, send your lens to Dan Goldberg of DAG. Yes, he does modify the 25 Biogon to bring up the 24mm lines on an M8. The 25mm Biogon is so stunning in its results that it's more than worth this extra trouble.
