I used this shot: http://www.dlridings.se/gallery/v/Shoebox/2007v11/07v11-0008.jpg.html Compare the processing of the same shot with LightZone: http://www.dlridings.se/gallery/v/Shoebox/2007v11/07v11-0008lz.jpg.html It is easy to do "split filter" printing, adjusting contrast in the high end of the scale, without affecting the darker tones and vice versa. I am not pro at this. I downloaded it just recently and haven't really had a chance to learn much. There are some good tutorials on the company site and also on the DigitalOutBack site. The system is inspired by the zone system and it is a lot more intuitive (for me) as a photographer who has done things in the darkroom. It works painlessly with layers and non-desstructive editing. All of your changes are saved in a separate file (takes about 100 kb) and when this file is combined with your original file, you get a result that can be printed or exported or whatever. Pretty nifty stuff. http://www.lightcrafts.com/index.php Daniel Philippe Orlent wrote: > This is the kind of seascape I wouldn't mind looking at all day long: > http://www.dlridings.se/gallery/v/Shoebox/2007v11/07v11-0008.jpg.html > > Thanks for showing, > Philippe _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
