If it were really a market issue then the larger form-factor cards would be used. SD needs special firmware to go above 2 GB. But both the DMR and the M8 are small cameras. I like this form factor - it's a LOT smaller so I can carry more of them. As I reported earlier I had the problem with the M8 and the Ultra III 2 GB card where it appeared full. I haven't been able to replicate the problem and both the Epson portable viewer and my Mac were able to reformat the card - which seemed to put it into a state that the M8 would then format itself.
