The real key to high iso work with the M8 is to use a low iso and use negative exposure compensation as Doug does on his DMR. I think Tina has also gotten good results with this technique also. I have tried it at iso 160 and -3 stops exposure compensation and it works very well, in the test shot I did, I could not see hardly any noise at all on my monitor. Also with firmware 1.092 Leica has improved the noise at high iso somewhat.
