That's the right attitude, Brian!!  I'm sure the photo will be 
phenomenal.  What is important is that you saw it and said "Wow, look 
at that!''  Anytime you say that, you can use whatever camera you 
have with you and the photo will be great.  Because you had an M8, 
the photo will be phenomenal.  Because the M8 is a small, portable, 
rangefinder with wonderful M lenses, you had it with you at the 
moment of epiphany!

Way to go!!
