I have a brace of 35Ss - one for colour slide, one for B&W, and the CL gets used with a variety of film types - that's why I use the adaptor and not alkaline cells - well, I do use alkalines in the B&W Rollei, TBH. C.R.I.S. camera makes one, I think, but I've never used one. I've recently inherited a CL and probably need an adapter. Battery is dead, of course. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for any help. Jim In a message dated 3/10/2007 6:36:47 PM Central Standard Time, nickbroberts@yahoo.co.uk writes: I use both cameras, and use an adaptor. Do you use Wein cells or an adapter? Just curious. Jim In a message dated 3/10/2007 5:03:16 PM Central Standard Time, ISILVERMN@aol.com writes: I have both a Rollei 35 and the Leica CL. Both take fine pictures within their respective limits, but the Rollei is far more robust. A brick, if you will.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone.
