I'm going to bite the bullet and put a 50/3.5 Heliar on a Canon 7. I think
the concern with those bodies is hitting the baffles.

I just checked a couple of other lenses. The 21/3.4 SA is OK, as is a 
very early nickel 50/3.5 Elmar. Both are quite clear of the shutter. 
I only have the Hologon to check, but it seems hardly worth it as the 
vignetting would probably be terrible.

In any case, the Heliars should both be fine. I don't know how far 
the 90 Elmar collapses, but that might be the only one that has a 
problem.
