Sometimes I wish Leica had put some kind of flag in the viewfinder warning me when the lens wasn't fully and completely in the un-collapsed position. Best thing about the M6 over the M4 is that the metering light blinks, informing me when I forget to remove the lens cap. I've determined that I'm now the biggest idiot in the world when it comes to photography, because of lost photographic opportunities due to un-removed lens caps and un-collapsed lenses. I've been brainwashed into having digital cameras to do all the thinking for me. (I can't remember having lens cap and lens collapsing issues back when I used Leica M exclusively and often.) Using DSLRs has dumbed me down. I feel I've been victimized. Help, I need legal representation! :-) DaveR
