Subject: [Leica] A Weakening... Somebody Stop Me!

According to Leica only the 90mm Macro-Elmar collapsible is approved  
for the M8. All the others will mount OK, but they go further into  
the camera and can take out the shutter if collapsed. I did try the  
50mm Summicron for a couple shots but was careful to mount it fully  
extended and then take it right off. I don't think I'll try it again  
though.
