Thanks George, Mark and Hoppy, It is an interesting thought that we may now develop differently for the scanner! I will stick with the 1.20 contrast density range as it will suit the darkroom and as Mark says, the digital side is pretty forgiving. I actually got around to making an image of something other than a grey card yesterday. Cheers Alastair
