I plan to buy there and then ship it back to New Orleans from Santa Fe if possible. I hope I don't walk out of there with a Leica IIIg or a Nikon S2. I have bought a number of things there with no regrets. BTW, a good motel in Santa Fe is the El Rey Inn on Cerrillos. Sometimes you can get an older patio room with a fireplace and kitchen for about $100. Down the street there is a Whole Foods with nice cheeses/pate and a decent wine selection to bring back to the room, if you're into roughing it.
