And maybe I'd prefer people think that instead of know the ugly truth about my family. :) When shooting B&W film with dominant (white) skin tones, I'd meter the face, put that in zone 6 (+1 exposure), and then develop normally. Sometimes, my highlights would blow. Sometimes, my shadows would block.
