Very nice pictures!  Thanks for sharing.

General rule of thumb:  only use "slim" filters that don't have front
threads on wide angle lenses.

What did you think of the workshop itself?  I keep thinking that I need to
get off and go to some type of nature photography workshop.  Just because
otherwise, I rarely get out of my rut.  :)
