The restaurant is on the road to Santa Fe, not far out of town. It's about a 45 minute drive from SF to Chimayo and another hour or so up to Taos. If you plan the dinner in Chimayo, keep in mind the the drive back is on winding roads in an area known for its high DWI rate. I probably wouldn't drive up there from ABQ for an evening of food and wine if I had to drive back the same night. There are tons of great resturants in SF. A favorite of mine is Gabriel's, just a few miles north of town near the Opera. They're famous for their fresh guacamole, which they make at your table to include any ingredients you select. http://www.restauranteur.com/gabriels/ -- Phil Swango 307 Aliso Dr SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 505-262-4085
