In that arena, there are basically 2 types of shooters... those that experiment with every known developer and film combination known to mankind, and those that take pictures, using only 1 film and 1 developer. I have met both types. Same is probably true in the digital world. However, for LF shooters, there is no manual nor need to have one. There is a well marked shutter, F-stop ring, focus knob and lock downs. ( Yes, there are movements, 2 more lockdowns) . Digital things are more complex, and to be honest, because I have insight into the workings of some of those digital chips inside, there are more features only because there is room in the program memory . It costs nothing to add 46 more modes of filtering, action, distance, or whatever. It is remembering these things that boggles my mind.... I was sincere in asking about cheat sheets..... knowing how to change from chimping in B+W or color is pretty obscure info. Worse yet, knowing how to hit 4 buttons in a row, in the right order, and also to get back to where you started, seems, well, complicated. A personal cheat sheet seems sensible. Maybe I should make one up for my Hasselblad Meter? Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net And how is it different from photographers sitting around discussing agitation styles or dilution/time changes? Not much... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . w a d e h e n i n g e r
