Mine is a corrected model (no white dots) and takes incredible images when I present it with the opportunity. ;-) When I was shooting film SLR bodies a few years ago, 28mm didn't seem like a very important lens to have and one I rarely used - not really a wide, only 7mm under a 35mm, etc I would reach for the 24mm instead. After shooting on digital bodies for the last few years, 28mm truly feels like a wide and is really liberating to use. Not so wide I need an extra finder and I can focus it instead of doing distance measurement shooting. I love mine and the photos it takes.
