You owe me one! The lens is currently getting the coding and I then will send in the M8 for upgrade and then I will send the pair in for adjustment. I just hate to have the M8 out of my hands and have been delaying, as long as possible, sending it in. Bill in Denver Ps I really like my portrait but, geeze, I didn't think I looked _that_ old! ;) must be a problem with the white balance on the tri-x. ;) -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bill=photobynelsch.com@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bill=photobynelsch.com@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Jeffery Smith Sent: Monday, February 19, 2007 3:52 PM To: 'Leica Users Group' Subject: RE: [Leica] My 85-year-old mother is in love with this guy I've had some focusing issues with my 75 'Lux as well. I don't know if it is the lens or me. My local camera repair guy is an older geezer who looks like Jack Warden. I don't think he is set up for lens calibration. Who does that sort of work other than Solms? The 28 and 35 focus dead on the money. However, I'm having back focus issues (I think I'm using the term correctly - the lens focuses a few mm behind where I intend) with the 75. That which is sharp is very sharp - however, achieving intended focus has been a frustration. I'm trying to teach myself to correct for issue - as I don't want to send the lens out for calibration.
