Hello,

About two years ago, a member of my church told me that in a house he'd 
recently bought there were a bunch of old cameras and he wanted me to come 
and tell him what they were.  The house had been built by a prominent member 
of the community, and when he and his wife had died, their daughter moved in 
and trashed the place out.  She had recently died and this guy got the house 
and everything in it for nearly nothing.  The whole place had been a mess - 
the woman and three dogs had really ruined the place and he had to gut the 
house, but this cache of camera gear had been in a closet, untouched.  I 
went to his business a few weeks later and he showed me a pile of old 
cameras, including a 70's era Nikon Leather hard-case that contained a Nikon 
F/FTn and a half dozen AI'ed lenses, an FE and a Nikkormat FTN were there as 
well.  I told him that most of it was junk, but the F was a great camera and 
the other two and the lenses were good too.  I told him he could probably 
sell them through the local camera dealer's consignment window or on ebay. 
He gave them to me.

The twist - in with all the other paperwork and manuals, there was paperwork 
for a Leica CL and accessories.  Apparently the daughter had found it and 
sold it off at some point.  :-(
