Film loading was very finicky, much moreso than my IIIc. The bigger-than-IIIc viewfinder didn't compensate for the trouble of shifting my eye from RF to VF window, and I missed more shots than I care to discuss. The trade up to M cameras was a huge improvement. If I were a rangefinder 35 photographer in the mid to late 50s and couldn't afford an M3, I definitely would have chosen the Canon VT over the IIIg. Framelines for 50 and 90 lenses.
